  • Materials:

  • Americana FolkArt: Inca Gold, Antique White


  • 1/2" Birch plywood,
  • 1/4" Birch plywood
  • 19 gauge wire
  • 7 1/2" squre of mirror
  • mirror glue or epoxy for glass
  • crackle medium
  • wood glue
  • acrylic matte spray finish


Cutting Instructions:
Cut 8 1/2" x 9 1/2" piece from 1/2" plywood. Cut out center as shown. Drill holes as indicated. Cut dragonfly from 1/4" Birch plywood, cutting body and wings as separate pieces. Round edges of dragonfly using sander.

Painting Instructions:
Base frame INCA GOLD. Apply crackle medium, following package directions, topping with ANTIQUE WHITE. Base dragonfly INCA GOLD. Highlight with sponge using ANTIQUE WHITE.
Line letters with BLACK.

Glue dragonfly in center of plaque as shown. Add wire for hanger, curling wire as desired. Spray entire project with acrylic matte spray.
